Ahoy!

If you have a creative mind then you know it must be fed. Here is something for you to snack on. Check out these fabulous ribbon sculptures. They are so adorable and they are made using ribbon, that's it! Aren't they amazing? I love the pirate girl, very cute, and it doesn't have all the cross bone stuff! And the pirate girls little braids, bows, belt and sword....AWESOME! Click here http://littlepinkladybug.com/catalog.php?keyword=pirate&cond=advand&category= to purchase an ebook guide on how to make these adorable creations. These ribbon sculptures would look great placed on book bags, lunch sacks, sweaters, vest, hair bows....you name it!

Chili anyone?

Well, it's the weekend....around here, that means playtime! I love the weekend family fun. If you are at a loss for something inexpensive, but entertaining, I have a few ideas! Stone Mountain is hosting it's annual Chili cook off. That should be loads of fun, not to mention YUMMY! Here in McDonough they are doing a local Chili cook off as well. It will be held in the new arena area located at Heritage Park. And, don't forget about Burt's that I mentioned in a recent post! Have fun and enjoy your weekend plans!

Join me...it will be fun!

There are very few moments in life that continue to stay in your mind as being "special". Life as a mom can become just a blur from day to day. It is easy to get caught up in what we are doing in our lives but not taking the time to look at how our lives influence the ones around us. This post is simply for me, a reminder to look in the eyes of the ones I love and tell them that I love them. To hold their hand, to whisper in their ear, to kiss their cheek, to sit in the floor and play, to go outside in the rain, to let ice cream melt, to let laundry wrinkle, to let dust collect...and all the other things that seems to steal time away. It is my goal to deal with everyday "mommy chores" at a set time and use the rest of the day to simply be a mommy. So, here is to having fun with the kids and enjoying my wonderful husband, making memories that I hope will somehow last!
**CAUTION-If you should stop by and my house is not in tip top shape, just remeber..I am having fun!**

They are having a fall savings sale with items up to 65% off! Pottery Barn is one of my favorite places t shop for children's item. However, due to there high end prices, I mostly "window shop"! But now is the time to buy...they have items as low as $3.99 that would make great stocking stuffers!

My family and I traveled out to Stone Mountain to the Yellow Daisy Festival this past weekend and we were not at all disappointed. There were a ton of vendors with very cool items, great food, nice weather and stuff every where that I wanted to buy. I took a few snap shots of some of the great hand made items that I liked. There were some people who would not let me photograph their work. However, I think I took more than enough pictures - hahahahhaha!

You know me...little Miss. Photog!
